Gretchen M. Waguespack

Gretchen M. Waguespack’s practice has primarily been in the areas of environmental, toxic tort and product liability.

She has an extensive history in representing individuals in these complex areas of law. In addition to representing individual clients, she has also utilized her vast experience in multi-state and national mass tort class action litigation. She has served on various discovery teams to ensure that all relevant information for these complex cases were identified among hundreds of thousands of documents. In addition to case building strategies, Gretchen also has experience in case preparation and litigation of these complex cases.

Her experience in environmental and toxic tort matters brings a unique perspective to the firm's Oil and Gas Department. Given her experience on both sides of these issues, she is able to identify potential areas of liability and risk for our clients. This type of analysis is invaluable as it provides yet another level of protection for our Oil and Gas clients.

In addition to her extensive experience in class action litigation, she also handles various other matters on behalf of her clients. Her broad experience in the courtroom has led her to handle a vast range of general litigation matters. Areas in which she has represented and litigated on behalf of her clients include family law, estate planning and administration, business law and personal injury. She has litigated these cases in both the state and federal court system. In addition, she has handled real estate closings for mortgage companies.

Ms. Waguespack graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana.
